  1. In Mr. Ahern's field, in Whitechurch there are a great lot of stones and it is said that an old chieftain is buried there and every man or woman who visited the grave brought a stone as a mark of respect because everybody loved the chieftain. All the stones are of equal weight and size.
    There is a place near Garryclogher called Glen Righ where Geoffrey Keating was supposed to hide. There is a cave where there are three rooms and he resided here when he was on the run.
