  1. In the townland of Lismagratty there lives two old poets named Kate and Susan Reilly. About fifty years ago they lived. They were born in the house where Tim Fitzpatrick lives now. They were about fifty five years of age when they died. They are buried in Castletara grave-yard.
They composed a song called "Grags Old Cow". They made this song, because a man named Grag lived in the townland of Drumbo. He was a very bad man, and the people did not like him. He had an old cow, and one day she fell into a drain, and she died because he could not pull her out. He ran to the neighbours' houses, but they could not come to his assistance. The old cow died, and that is why the song was composed. These poets were daughters of a farmer. They were good singers.
