Cures of the thrush, and sprains are made on Monday and Thursday of the week.
Good Friday is a lucky day for sowing seeds and setting potatoes. People tie red strings on cows' tails on the 1st of May to keep them from being overlooked by an evil eye. The cow would waste away and die, if she was overlooked by such an eye.
