  2. About one mile from Ballinagh there is a fort called "Fleming's Folly". It is said that a man named Fleming tried to build a fort, so that he could see the ships on the ocean. But unfortunately he never succeeded in doing so. Before it was finished, he was killed by a fall. This fort still remains to be seen.

  3. Just outside Kilfree Co. Sligo, there is a lake known as "Balor's Lake."
