There was an old house in Killininneen where there was a marriage long ago. This marriage took place about eighty years ago. Frank Kelly and Mary O'Farrell were married there.After the marriage the couple chartered a spring car and one of the fastest ponies and went to the bride's house. There was a procession of cars after the one which was first.The couple ate breakfast at the bride's house and from eleven o'clock that day the strawboys were there dancing and amusing themselves.
