  1. If you get a bite from a dog in the month of June you are to pull two hairs out of the dog and make a cross with them and say in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy ghost. If this is not done both the dog and the person that was bitten go mad.

  2. There is a certain plant that grows on the thatch of a house. It is believed that this will cure sore eyes when the juice is taken from it by boiling. The juice is supposed to be rubbed on the eyes of the person and it will cure them.
