  1. There is a story told about a dog that does be seen at a cross roads every night. This cross- roads is in the townsland of Bleachlawn, and parish of Drumraney. There is a man named Michael Browne living at this cross- roads. This dog has a pass way from Michael Brownes haggard out on the road. One time Michael started to build a house on the pass way, but he did not know about the dog's pass. He started to build the house one day, and the next morning when he went out the house was knocked down. He could never build a house there. He never tried to do so after this event. There was a shop at Michael Browne's also, and their was a woman named Molly Robinson who used to come down to it for things. When she would be coming she used bring two big dogs with her and they used fight the other dog. The dog with the tongue of fire would not come for a few nights afterwards and during that time the other dogs used to be sick.
