  1. There is a fairy fort in a field belonging to Mr McCormack. It is a round fort with blackthorn bushes growing all round it. One night a man was passing this fort and he saw crowds of horsemen galloping around the fort. Convenient to this fort is a field called "Tobar Sailig". One night a woman called Mrs Connorton was going through this field and a crowd of little black men surrounded her. At this the woman got afraid but one of the fairies said, "Do not be afraid because we know you well." Some time after a young girl was taken by these fairies. After a long time she was returned but her
