  1. A few months ago there was a company of travellers going along the road. They came to a place called Dandisses tree on the Killulagh road between Mullingar Delvin. One party of them putting their camp under the for shelter.
    The other company went down further. The man who had his camp under the tree could not sleep with something crying around him. At last he had to take up his camp in the middle of the night and remove it way. It is said that a man was killed at this tree and it is said the man haunts the tree yet.
