    The top off the egg and ate back half of it and then filled the rest up with butter. The woman of the house said to him "Sure it is too soft your egg is this morning William". "Oh It is all right mam " said he "I can harden it up with butter".

  2. One day a doctor was coming to attend a patient that lived a piece in from the road. He came to the end of the boreen. He met a boy and he asked him to mind the horse until he came back. When he came back he was going away. The boy said "Doctor, when you go home if you have your purse lost remember that you did not bring it out here.". The doctor stood his horse and he gave him half a crown.
