    As he was passing out from the court the wicked hangman was hanging on a tree with his head hanging down he said "my fine young king's son from Ireland will you release me from my suffering as I am hanging here for the last five hundred years," and the answer the king gave was that "I did not put you there nor I will not take you from it," so away he went to the king's palace, and both the king and the Queen welcomed him.
    Now the king warned him at the peril of his life not to interfer with the wicked hangman that was hanging on the tree as he was passing into the giants castle and he promised the king not to interfer.
