    But one day a stranger washes clothes in the wells' and they dried and removed and sprang up again in Cahill's farm in Ballyhoman near "Lough Guirm." The people around that district now get water there, and it is said that it is very healthy.

  2. The patron Saint of Askeaton is the Blessed Virgin. The church and the schools are dedicated to her.
    There are no stories connected with the Saint but about two miles from Askeaton on the left side of the road on the land of Mr. Egan there are two wells which are called the "Sunday Wells".
