Another for the same game was:-

The following are rimes written by emigrants in London and in Scotland and written in letters to Ireland.
- London
"Bubbles, trades, mechanics, arts
Coaches, wheelbarrows and carts
Many a bargain, if you strike it
This is London, how do you like it.
The men in Scotland wrote the following lines home:-
"The Scotchmen here are all alive,
Breakfasting at half past five.
If not, they say, they cannot thrive
On the lofty hills of Scotland."
This letter was read aloud in the kitchen for the edification of a somewhat lazy farm labourer. The employer (father of the man in Scotland) promised the labourer 1/2 qr. of tobacco if he would follow the example of his son(continues on next page)
