    would go to the girls house to make the match.
    When he would be going he would bring another man with him perhaps to do the asking for him. It was also the custom to bring a bottle of Whiskey with them. When the match would be made the people in the house would have a drop of the Whiskey. In olden times they would give money or stock as a dowry to the man who would be getting married.
    On the wedding - day it was the custom that the man and woman who were being married would ride on two decorated horses to the Church. When they would be coming home both of them would ride on one
