  1. Home made toys are very plentiful in this district. The children amuse themselves on the long Summer's evenings by making toys.
    It is the custom that the girls should gather the primroses which are to be seen in bloom in Summer. They make a neck lace from the primroses. They first gather a sufficient quantity of these flowers. Then they make a chain from the flowers. They weave them in and out until they have woven them into a chain.
    The boys make certain other toys. They make tops from thread spools. They also make snares from wire which is made for that purpose. Those toys
