    a sign of bad weather. If the moon looks red we expect wind. It is said that the West wind brings most rain. The North wind is a signal of a coming storm. If birds fly low such as a flock of starlings it is thought that bad weather will follow. If birds such as crows are seen turning and twisting in the air it is said that it is a signal of a storm When birds fly high it is thought that fine weather may be expected If cats or dogs are seen lying at the fireside it is said to be a sign of bad weather also.
    When white fleecy clouds are seen on the sky, the weather is changeable or unsettled. Rainbows are said to be a sign of fine weather. If dust
