    In a house on the hillside of Kerry, there was a crowd of boys playing cards...

    of the house got up and opened it. An old turkey slipped in and went in hide under the dresser. All the boys became alarmed and lit a splinter(as was used at the time) to search for her. What they saw was an old woman seated there, saying "I am only a poor little creature all the way from Connemara".
