  1. There is a farm situated in Lavalla near Brosna owned by a man named Lyons. Long ago this farm was managed by caretakers. It so happened at this particular time that the farm was cared by Mr and Mrs Hearnes who hailed from Lismore Co. Waterford. These people had also other servants to help them with their work. The herdsmen were herding the cattle in one of the fields of the farm, in which there was (and it is there to the present day) a spring well, one night when suddenly they saw a several rings of angels flying around the well singing hymns. They discussed the matter between themselves and they all agreed to the fact that something wonderful
