  1. Near Killarney there is a farmer's house near a fort. The woman of the house had a habit of throwing the ashes out the back door. Then the wind used to blow it off the fort.
    One day a strange woman came and asked the woman of the house for the loan of a pot that she wanted to boil some clothes and that she would return it again in a couple of hours.
    After a couple of hours she returned with the pot and gave this advice to the woman never again to throw the ashes out the back door as it was going into the fort and
