    In the olden time the people had many way of curing sore and pains.
    How to cure warts/
    1. To get a bag and to put as many stones into it as you have of warts.
    2. When you wake in the morning to spit on your ward and make the sign of the cross on it with the spit for nine mornings.
    3. To bury a piece of bacon that would be well sated and according as the bacon will be decaying the wart will be disappearing.
    4.To rub spurge to the wart commonly know as bainicín,this is a herb that grows near the river side.
