   It leads to Gleann and branches off to Geevagh. Some years later a road was made branching into Rosmore. They had to build a bridge across the river as there had been but a few planks across it before that.
   The Coach Road is the main road from Sligo to DUblin. it is so called because in olden times the Coaches used to run on it. it was repaired during the time of the famine.
   There is a road leading from Riverstown to Sligo which runs through Carrowcashel. There are a few bridges on it and there are several unimportant bye-roads leading from it. At "Tailors Cross it branches off to Glann.
   During the Penal Times a short road was made was made by the farmers of the district through Thrush Valley. It was made for the purpose of the priest saying mass at Mass Rock which was there. Soon it was over-grown with grass because it was seldom used but it was used often after the Penal times. It was repaired recently by the County Council and it is now a good road leading from Ross to the
