    Patrick Bevine was a great thatcher. Ann Kenny who lived in Ross was very good for spinning. Mrs Mac Morrow who lived about three miles outside Riverstown was also a great spinner. She used to weave wool and tow.
    Paddy Carney, who lived in Riverstown was a good thatcher. Pat Flanagan who lived in Coolbock was very good for making baskets.

  2. Pat Callaghan of Coolbock was a great creel and basket maker. He used to charge very dear because there were no other basket-makers at that time, and everybody used to go to him to get them made. Jim Flanagan was a basket maker also. He lived in Lachagh and he had no other way of living except
