    The greatest festival of the year is Christmas. It commemorates the birth of Our Lord. The festival of Cristmas was foretold a great number of years previous to the birth of Our Lord.
    Christmas comes but once a year
    When it comes it brings good cheer
    When it goes it leaves us here
    And what will we do for the rest of the year
    Another great festival is St. Patricks Day which falls on the 17th of March each year. It is regarded with great veneration as St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. The history of St. Patrick is known by nearly all the Irish people the world over as he brought the True Faith to Ireland.
