    At the old fairs the farmers get a good price now as the tariffs are off. When the fair was held in the fair Green a man stayed at the gate and the people paid money. The money was given to the owner of the fair green.

  2. In Riverstown there is a fair held on the fourteenth day of every month. It is not held on the streets but it was once held in the fair Green at the lower end of the town. The farmers who have cattle to buy or sell. attend the fair. On that day shopkeepers have a very busy day.
