At the caves in the townland of Rockbrook there is another Mass rock at which a priest used to say Mass. The rock, when struck by a piece of stick or stone makes a sound like a bell. As they had no bell they used the rock for one. It is still to be seen and it still retains its musical sound. In those times people were glad to go a few miles to hear Mass.
- The people of Ireland were always in terror of the English soldiers. At Keash there is a small lake which was made by a priest and his horse. As the English troops followed the priest, the horse jumped(continues on next page)
