- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)are being hunted people say 'high cearc'.
When pigs are being hunted away 'high muck' 'high muck' is said and when a sow is being called 'Hurrish' 'Hurrish' is said.
When ducks are being called the people say 'wheet' 'wheet'.
When a hen is clucking eggs are got and put in a box in which there is straw or hay and the hen is put lying on them. If she does not lie on them whiskey is got and a spoon of it is given to her. She gets drunk and she is put down again on the eggs. When they are about nine days down the are looked at. If there is a clear spot on the top of the egg there is a bird in it. When the egg is dark it is rotten and it is lifted up.
