“There were two brothers working together.”
There were two brothers working together. One day the youngest came in to his mother + he said he would stop no longer. When he was away his mother gave him a half a loaf of bread. As he was going along the road a greyhound came along and asked him for the bread. The greyhound had a spear in his mouth. When the boy gave him the bread the greyhound gave him the spear + he told him that if he was fighting with anyone he could kill him with the spear. There was a beautiful girl + she was to get married to a giant + if anyone killed the giant they could marry her. So the boy went to the castle + fought the giant + killed him + left the spear stuck in him. The girl was glad + they got married + they lived happy after ever more.- Informant
