    Long ago there was a great lot of Witch craft, and the old people used to call it pishoges.

    Long ago there was a great lot of Witch craft, and the old people used to call it pishoges. Long ago they used to make their own butter. This farmer used to make butter. One year he could not make any butter. When he was making it it was all white froth that was in the milk and he could not make it. The farmer had a son a priest and he used come home on holidays. This time he came and his mother said to him that they could not make any butter but it was all white froth that was in the milk. The priest told his mother to make a big fire. She made it and he told to get the iron of a spade and to put it into the fire and she did so. He went up in the room and whatever he did I do not know but he told his mother to bar the doors and whatever would happen not to say a word or not to let any one in. The priest started doing something in the room and a cry came to the door and the woman called the priest and he stopped and the cry
