    possible to tell her friends what she saw. They soon hastened to the spot where she saw the gold. But a trace of the gold there wasn't to be found.
    The gold chalices must have been hidden in the time of the penal laws, and the fairies by some mis-chance or other must have got possession of them.
    There is supposed to be gold hidden under a stone glass opposite Pat Burke's old house in "The Lis" as it is called. One time men were ploughing in the field and they came across a stone which they could not lift and it is supposed that gold is under the flag.
