  1. "In Wardhouse there is a field situated near the sea. In it there is supposed to be a treasure hidden. A man of the name of O'Reilly who lived in Belturbet in the County Cavan dreamt on three consecutive nights that there was a treasure hidden in a certain part of the field. On the fourth day he and six other men came down from Cavan to the field to search for the treasure. At midnight when all the people in the village were in bed they started digging. They were digging only a short time when there came a great gust of wind. It tossed all the men here and there through the field. The men were all
