    If cattle have ring-worm, and when you rub on kelp, and water, it will heal it.
    If a cow has the slip-tail cut a split in the tail, and put garlic in the split. If you have a cold, broil garlick, and whiskey, and drink the duice.
    If there is a stye on your eye, rub the gooseberry jags on it, making the sign of the cross, and throw them into the fire, and while they are burning the style is going away.
    If a pig has the crupish, throw water on it.
    A cure for a bile, is to make a poltic (sic) of white bread, and sweet milk, and put it on it.
    A care for a sting of a nettle, is to rub a docking on it.
    If you come to a small hole of water, and warts on your feet, have something behind, and the warts will go away.
    If you have a bile put a bottle of stea to it, and it will soften it and the corruption will come out.
    If a calf has a cough, get whins
