The doctor was sent for and he told his people that Mr Collins had fever. He was very ill. Two nurses attended to him, the night-nurse being a nun. No one of the sick-man's children was allowed in the house. After a week had elapsed Mr Collins was worse. He got very bad pains at intervals and was very often raving.
