  1. The name of my district is Ballylangane. It is near the sea, and the mountain is at the back of it. It is a very nice village, or hamlet; there are about twenty houses in it.
The name Casey is the most plentiful one in the townland. There are five or six families of Caseys. The land is fairly good for crops. Wheat is grown extensively there. The people live to be over seventy years in my place. Old men are, James Casey, John Casey, Florance Casey, and Maurice Harty. Florance Casey is the oldest of them.
