  1. Long time about Easter 1916 there did a ship come in to Banna strand. The name of the ship was the "Aud" and the captain of it was captain Spindler. This ship came from Germany. Roger Casement went to Germany to try to get men, guns, and ammunition to help and free Ireland. There was a man to come out of Tralee and his name was Austin Stack, to meet him. But the ship came three days too soon, and the English captured the ship and captain Spindler sunk it, and the crew got out in small boats. Roger
