  1. The potato was the chief food the people lived on long ago. They used the potato at all the meals of the day.
    They used to work two hours in the morning before the breakfast, digging potatoes, or doing some other work, and then they would eat a meal of potatoes and sour milk.
    This was a very healthy meal. The people long ago were healthier then the people now-a-days. Out of the potato they made
