Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)which is used now. It is hollow in the centre something the shape of a saucer, with two ears for crooks which enables it to be hung over the fire like a pot. The candlestick was made of metal. There was a stand in the middle, and out from it were two arms. These arms were constructed on the make of a pliers, and these pliers would hold a candle each.
There were two thatchers in the district, Pat Smith, and Pat Feadis. They died between fifteen and twenty years ago.
There were horse-nails made in a forge on top of Maio hill.
There was a limekiln on every farm long ago, in which the people used to burn lime-stone. Some of these limekilns were made of stone, and more of them were made of clay.
There was a weaver in Drominiskin named Thomas Cahill. He used to weave woollen cloth(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
