    I, Maisie Murphy, Main St. Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary got the above account from Mrs Loftus, aged 84 wife of Mr. Loftus, the Square, Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary.
    Almost from the time of her marriage more than 60 years ago up to a short time before his death in 1933, she helped her husband at this unique work, particularly in working the "lathe". She is hail and hearty still and loves to speak about the work.
