  1. Once a dead man was found in Mooncoin and it was discovered that he was from Piltown. A man named Mc Grath said he would take the corpse to Piltown at mid-night in an asse's cart. In a place called the "Ramore Road" a dog walked by the side of the cart. When Mc Grath would say anything to him he would look at him with two big eyes standing in his head like balls of fire, and he would growl. They say that only for the cross on the asse's back the dog would have eaten him. The dog was the devil.
