    I've always had a yearning fir tramping hilly roads.
    Desire for climbing upwards the constant dreamer goods.
    And when I long for freedom from toil and task and ill,
    I go where freedom's waiting on famous Tory Hill.

    Escape is like enchantment when you breathe the mountain air.
    Far away from human chatter in the crowded haunts of care.
    By the peaceful rippling stream and the distant humming mill.
    In a ragged world of heather by the slopes of Tory Hill.

    There the heart may know contentment
    That is a kingdom's crown.
    Never will the spirit find it in the pleasure of the town.
