  1. Some people say that we can know the kind of weather that is going to come if we watch the birds and the animals and other different insects. It is supposed that there is going to be storm if the swallow flys low, or if the crows fly against other in the sky. The crows build their nests in the low branches of the trees if there is going to be storm, but if they build their nests up high in the trees there is going to be dry weather. The curlew shouts along the rivers or lakes, and the seabird fly to land when there is going to be storm. If the smoke goes up straight from the chimney there is going to be dry weather but if the smoke blows towards the ground there is going to be rain. If the rivers lower down very quickly there is going to be rain for the water is soaked up into the clouds and it has to come down again in rain. If the robin sits on a low branch and shrieks there is going to be rain but if he sits on the top of the bush and sings sweetly there is going to be dry weather. If the dog eats the grass and if
