- There was a poor man one time living in Tonagh and he had no fodder for his cow in the winter. One night a little fairy man ppeared to him and he told him if he would not let on to anybody or if he would not say anything to the man who would be carrying it, that he would send enough fodder that would do the cow the next day.
The man did not tell anybody and when he went out every morning afterwards the barn was full of straw. The man could stand it no longer. He thought he would sit at night and see who was leaving the straw. So he sat up in the corner of the barn and in the middle of the night he saw a fairy man coming in every minute carrying one straw every time. When he had a lot of straw carried the fairy man started to talk to himself. "Oh" he said "I am sweating." In the name of God what are you sweating doing. U don't see what would make you sweat" said the man.
