This evening it happened that it was very late and as he and the driver were coming along the road a big black dog jumped out from inside the ditch and was trying to go into the car to bite them. Then the priest thought that he never said his Office that day and he took out his prayer book and started to read it and still the dog stayed at them until he had his Office finished and then disappeared.
