    Bhí fear ag teacht “na” bhaile lá amháin casadh bean air agus bhí sí ag iomhchur bascóide. D’iarr sí ar ban fhear cuiduighadh léith an bhascóid a iomhchur agus rinn an fhear sin. Nuair a bhí an fear a fhagháil thug sí sgilling, agus achan uair a gceannuigheadh sé dadaidh ar an sgilling gheibheadh sé i na phoca aríst í. Lá amháin thug sé an sgilling seo do’n sagart agus nuair a rug an sagart ar an sgilling d’imhtigh sé i ndeór uisge i n-a láimh.
