   This was found out by a man and woman who went in search of the gold. They were digging for a long time until at last they came to a flag and when they lifted this they saw an Iron lid and on top of the lid they saw a great eel.
   About two hundred yards east from where the other crocks are there is another one. Once an old man who knew about the gold had a servant and he told this boy about it. He said that there was a dobharchu guarding the crock and that nothing only his knife would kill that animal. At midnight this dobharchu would come and lie on a flag over the crock and unless he would be killed then with his knife he would not be killed.
   That night the man gave his knife to the boy and he went and killed the dobharchu. He got the gold and ever since that his descendants have been rich.
