St. Brigid’s Well

In John Noone’s land Ballinglen, Ballycastle there is a well called St. Brigid’s Well and people perform stations there between the 1st July and the 8th Sept. To make the station you first kneel down and state the intention you are doing the station for. You now have to go around the well five times and each time say an Our Father a Hail Mary and a Glory. The last time you must go around on your bare knees. Then you go in to the well and wash your feet. There are now five stones to be removed from one side of the well to the other and as you do this you bless yourself
