    the stone. The stone would start again across the shannon until it would land in the Island. It would remain there then and not stir until the next corpse would come to the shore.
    This was going on until one day a woman living on the Island washed clothes on this stone. It immediately disappeared into the water and never was seen after. This woman was very much annoyed as she did not know the harm she was doing.
