    after I made this remark the forms began to disappear. He also said that their appearance was heralded by a great cloud of light.
    I assure this is correct and that we were duly sober.
    This reminds me that there is also a keeper's lodge on the hill which is said to be visited by ghosts. The late Francis McNamee who occupied this lodge said that when lying in bed he saw a lady dressed in white looking at him in the bed and that she seemed to disappear through the wall of the house.
    A third appreciation is said to be seen about what is called the marble bridge where a lady is said to have committed suicide about 60 years ago.
    Caves
    There are a number of caves in the park. One of them is in the field called Jordan's Field according to Mrs McNamee. The old people said this cave passed across the mountain and came out on the Jonesboro side. (It is sandstone covered with flags.) There is also a cave underneath the remains of the mansion but this seems a kind of recent construction.
    A third cave is near the river coming down
