They said they would never come to Ireland again on a holiday because it was nothing but rain and Catholics. So Paddy was listening and he said "Be gorra" "I'll tell ye where to go on holiday next year. A fine place where there is no rain or Catholics" so they were delighted and they asked him where. So Paddy told them Hell was a fine place where there was neither rain or Catholics but plenty of heat.
- Paddy was bringing a fine beast to the fair one day so he met an English man and he asked him what he was expecting to get for such a fine beast. Paddy said "About £10" "Well" said the English man, "if you had that beast over in England you would get £18". "Be gorra" said Paddy "if I could get the lakes of Killarney to Purgatory I would get a guineea a drop for them.
