  1. Sean-Chill or Sean - Choill?
Opinion is pretty evenly divided as to both interpretations. In favour of the latter it may be said that there was a few acres of woodland there years ago. The old buts of the trees were cleared out of Sparrow's farm by a man, still alive - Ned Morgan, St. Johnstown, Fethard.

  2. In Sparrow's farm in Ballylusky about sixty years ago there was a ruin of an old building beside it.
In the course of its demolition the workmen found a holy-water font among the stones.
Was it another church or part of Magoury Abbey about 400 yards to the S. SE. of it.
