    There is a lake in the Galtee mountains called Muscree and there is a tradition in the Glen of Aherlow that the last snake St Patrick banished from Ireland is in this lake. The Saint had great trouble in putting away this snake. In order to get him into the lake he promised to let him out on Easter Monday but did not tell him WHAT Easter Monday he would release him. So every Easter Monday at midnight the snake puts up his head and says in Irish
    A Phadraig tá an luan i bhfaid ag teacht.
